this is the best men… im blessed…
As a pastor who sometimes feels we are just going through the motions of our Christianity, I was touched by the passion and the faith that Michael displayed. I still had tears in my 15 min. after I watched it. God will use this man and this song in a mighty way and I believe many will recieve their healing from the faith they recieve from hearing this song.
This song has taken our church in Neptune Beach, Florida by storm. One of the best to hit the worship circuit in years and the message is simple and so true, Jesus is all we need.
What an amazing song!! It has such a simple yet strong message!! My husband and i are youth pastors and we took our students to a conference where we were introduced to this song… it tore into the hearts of our teens and they experienced a life changing transformation… thank you to all those who are diligent seekers and continue to hear the voice of Jesus!!!! honestly speaking, my heart was broken when i watched the 2 videos. What a great spirit he have! If anyone hear the story and the song, i’m sure he will inspire that person. Annointing is a very important in singing a song because God will displace Himself on that song. And one thing more is, i believe is for us to sing a song of worship to Jesus we must be a part on what we are singing. Thank God for His Son Jesus. Without Him where would we be.
If you think, this song still has abundant meaning. Think about King David – he messed up, and then spent several psalms completely broken, saying sorry to God. This song now means not only healing from disease, but also, in many cases, spiritual healing from mistakes, such as Mike G’s lie. We need to keep praying for him, so that soon, he becomes a man of God who has learnt from his mistakes.
But the point is still being missed. Mike doesn’t need healing from the terminal cancer that he does not have. But he DOES need healing from his adult porn addiction that he had been hiding from everyone AND the lie that he had told. The song still has tons of meaning, since he is still a man that needs much healing. Sure, it may not be terminal cancer, but he is still in desperate need of healing of something that has taken over his life. Throw aside all judgements, since this could have easily been you or I, and pray for Mike and his family and all of the church members. He is still hurting, even if not from terminal cancer.
